Tromsø Doctoral Students (TODOS) is an interest organization that works to improve the general welfare of PhD candidates registered at The University of Tromsø – The Arctic University of Norway. TODOS does this by adopting a double-folded perspective on the PhD candidates’ activity at UiT: their academic working environment and their social life.

The organization should be contacted concerning issues related to study conditions and professional development, economic interests related to the PhD education, rights and duties at the university, research ethics and ideas for improving the social life of the PhD candidates here in Tromsø.

TODOS strives to be a natural link between the UiT administration (at all levels), the universities permanent employees including the scientific staff and PhD candidates at UiT in general aspects regarding the PhD education.

TODOS is not linked to any particular political opinion, union organization or religious belief and is as such a neutral organization.

TODOS was founded on the 2nd of March 2011.  The TODOS Board is elected every year at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and oversees the day-to-day operations of the organization. In addition TODOS has a Volunteer Committee.
