Breakfast seminar 7th of June

How can the library help you with your PhD?

When: Wednesday, the 7th of June, (Breakfast starts at 9:00, seminar at 9:25)
Where: Handelshøyskolen, Room 01.202

The university library offers many services specifically aimed at helping researchers and PhD candidates with their work. They can for example, share their tricks for finding relevant literature which can be very useful to learn early in your PhD.
They can also assist you later in your PhD life with choosing the right journal for your manuscript, writing grant applications or preparing your trail lecture (prøveforelesning) for your PhD defense.

To sum it up the library provides valuable support in all stages of your PhD journey.

We are therefore happy to announce that our first breakfast seminar this year will present different services of the university library. We are sure you will benefit not only from the free waffles and sandwiches but also from getting interesting information about some useful services you may be unaware of. One librarian specialized on the social sciences and humanities and one for the natural sciences will give some overview and examples of their services and answer all the question you may have.
