TODOS is pleased to announce a side event to this year’s Munin Conference on Scholarly Publishing!
Dr. Stephen Eglen, from the University of Cambridge, will present:
“How (and why) to work as an open scientist in the 21st century”
The term “open science” is gaining in popularity, yet what does it mean?
In this talk I will describe what I think the term means, and will outline my personal reasons for why I think open science is sensible.
I will also talk about the related issue of reproducibility in science.
In the second part of the talk I will then give some practical suggestions for adopting open science practices.
Although the seminar is designed with PhD candidates and postdoctoral fellows in mind, it is open to all!
When: Friday, November 29, 2019, 11:00 – 12:00
Where: Nedre Lysthus Auditorium : http://bit.ly/330S8Ud
Following the seminar, Dr. Eglen will be pleased to continue the discussion over lunch. This lunch will be by registration only. Space is limited to 20 people, so if you’re interested, please register here.
